Teacher Training

Our 200 Hour Teacher Training Program is powered by The Esther Vexler Yoga School who is dedicated to providing excellence in yoga education to the people of San Antonio and South Texas. We are committed to offering the highest quality, authentic yoga education to our teacher trainees, and to balance the ancient wisdom of the yoga tradition with the most up to date scientific information. We are committed to diversity and inclusiveness in our student body and our community.  Our Scholarship Program will insure that financial need is not an impediment for those who wish to deepen their understanding and practice of yoga. EVVYS is the first Yoga Alliance teacher training in South Texas and is still the only non-profit program in the area.  They are registered with Yoga Alliance, and their program continues to meet requirements for the RYT-200 certification. 

EVYS Yoga Alliance Teacher Training: Our program is Yoga Alliance approved and includes instruction in asana, philosophy, anatomy, and so much more. Classes generally meet two weekends out of the month, from 12:30-5:30pm at 5 Points Local on N. Flores. 

We are now accepting applications for our 200 hour program beginning in September of 2020. Space is limited: apply early!
